Article Marketing For Personal Branding And Website Traffic

how to use articles for traffic and edification

I know what you're thinking:

"Writing articles is so much extra work. I don't have the time to write and submit articles!"

You're here reading this because you take your business seriously enough to research ways to enhance your website's exposure and more importantly, to make a name for yourself in your niche, right?

Article writing isn't as hard as you think!

If you're out there scouring the web for the purpose of research and ideas as you should be, there's no lack of inspiration.

Don't forget, all you affiliate marketers should be using articles to review your affiliate products.

Tip:

Instead of having an affiliate link in the bio box of your articles, make sure you're sending people to your own page for that particular product on your own (content-rich) website. This is where you should be PRE-SELLING  the product.

Do yourself a favor right now:

Back to article marketing.

Article directories are websites where authors can submit their work included with a link to their website or blog. Webmasters can then use these articles as content on their pages as long as they keep the bio box intact.

Instant Free One-Way Links To Your Site!

Now, you can't just go submitting shameless plugs for your product or opportunity or it's sure to get deleted. Plus, that won't do anything for your credibility.

From an SEO standpoint, articles are a great  way to be linked to your primary keyword phrases as well. Especially if your keyword phrase appears in the titles of your articles.

By now, you should have master keyword phrase lists for each of  the main topics on your webisite (seperate keyword lists for each page of your website) you can use to brainstorm your titles and content.

What, you don't have large keyword lists for your topics? Check out my Affiliate Webmaster's Course which comes with videos and information about keyword research.

Linking Tip:

Use articles to do "deep linking" to your website. What this means is that instead of using your bio box to link to your home page every time you submit an article, you'll want to link to individual pages of your site  that match the topic of the article.

You don't even have to write long articles, keep between about 300-500 words and no longer than 700 words at the most.

Here are some basic ideas for the kind of articles you can submit:
  • 10 Things You Should...
  • Top 7 Reason's Why...
  • 5 Things You Should Never...
  • 3 Steps To...
See what I'm getting at here? These list like articles are the type that people love to use on their sites. Be creative and try to come up with topics that aren't done to death.

Make sure you write about things you know. The whole point of article writing and submission is to gain exposure and position yourself as an expert in your niche.

Remember, the more you continue the learning process in anything you do, the more specialized knowledge you'll have to offer. This is what will attract people to work with you. If others look at you as a valuable source of information, you're set.

Actually, this is the whole main concept of  "Magnetic Sponsoring."

Being a network marketer or even an affiliate marketer is one thing, being a successful Internet marketer requires specialized knowledge which makes you attractive in the eyes of your prospects and potential customers.

You MUST get out there and make yourself known as a leader if you expect the success I know you're dreaming of.

Got it?

Now, go show the world how much wisdom you have to offer.
